punk rock, working out church stuff, booking diy shows and tours
So, as I was walking (not driving!) down Queen Street in Exeter, I couldn’t help but notice 6 or 7 bin bags full of “waste” food outside of The Co-Operative Supermarket. Any regular readers will have seen how I managed to find enough food for a week by going through supermarket bins at night-time, but today, it was somehow different. These bags were full of food that was what I guess that establishment considered damaged in terms of packaging.
In truth, the following items were within their sell by date and although some frozen items were since defrosted, there was nothing wrong with the food itself. This haul is only from 2 bags (all i could carry!)
4x300ml Tuborg lager
2x660ml Peroni lager
4x330ml Peroni lager
M&M Peanuts 115g
Revels 85g
1x Rice Krispies Square
3xCroissants
2xGingerbread Reindeers! (presumably out of season?!)
Goodfellas Pepporoni Pizza
Homepride Tinned Chilli
“I Love You” Milk Chocolates 65g
Mini Chocolate Eclairs 11g
Indian Selection - Bhajis etc x2 275g
3xToffee Pecan Roulade
Fairtrade Milk Chocolate 100g
30 mini Chupa Chups
6 med Free Range Eggs
2x 12 mini Pastry Canapes
