Yesterday, to challenge the concept of living for free further, I managed to travel from Exeter to Polzeath without any cash. When I got there, I met my friends Henry and Kris, who run Tubestation in the village (tubestation.org) and Henry showed me all the work they’ve done there to give the community a place to call their own!

Hitching was actually fairly straightforward actually, but everyone who picked me up (it took 6 separate cars!) had themselves hitched in the past. 90 miles in 4 hours isn’t bad, but it would have taken a lot longer if it wasn’t for a lot of sympathy!

Today, Beth and I have a picnic, still based on food that had “gone off” and been thrown out by supermarkets on Wednesday!! Starting to get ready for a week without technology!!!!
