Day 8 - Heiloo to Mons

I like Holland. I like it a lot. Leaving it this morning was hard. What will I miss the most? The American/Dutch accent? The remarkable record collections?! The excellent collection of pets that we met? Or the warmth in which we were greeted and saluted?! All of the above I reckon, but most of all, the Gouda sandwiches. Who wants to set up an import/export business?

Now, we’re back in Belgium, which, thanks to Brussels, has a lot of work to do to catch up! We are sat in the Cafe Du Parc, in Mons, South West Belgium. It reminds me of The Pony and Trap, in Cullompton, which ain’t much to brag about. We shall see how we get on. However, it is better than the other Cafe Du Parc we first arrived at. Dan Heron’s analysis was that more building work needed to take place; fortunately there were 12 builders already there. Seb had typed in the wrong place! Sorry Seb!

Now we await our set. The band will be playing in an entirely different room to the crowd tonight! See you in England friends!
